The Fair Annexation Coalition (FAC) is an organization formed to promote change in North Carolina’s involuntary annexation statutes through research, education, and sharing of information with private citizens and elected officials. The following activities will be conducted in furtherance of this mission:
  1. Educate all North Carolina property owners on the issues surrounding forced, involuntary annexation by municipalities and the steps that any property owner may take to oppose such annexation.
  2. Pursue legislative actions and encourage legal remedies, where necessary, on behalf of the citizens of North Carolina.
  3. Keep all interested citizens and organizations informed of the legislation that is introduced in the General Assembly related to changing North Carolina’s involuntary annexation statutes.  
  4. Track state and local election results as regards involuntary annexation.
